  • What is the Branford Arts & Cultural Alliance (BACA)?

  • History and Mission

  • Founded in 2014, BACA is a local non-profit 501©(3) organization whose mission is to support the arts and cultural community by presenting events for the public at the BACA Gallery in Branford and at venues locally and along the Connecticut Shoreline.

Our programs include curated art exhibitions, concerts and recitals, author talks and readings, theatrical and dance performances, and more.

BACA holds a special role as a social convener that brings together artists and art lovers. We also support youth artists with exhibition opportunities and an annual art student scholarship.

BACA is a member of the Shoreline Arts Alliance, Arts Council of New Haven, and the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce.
